Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used the superior abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. Ladd won the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
