Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969, is an English comedian, actress, and writer. She has been honored with numerous awards for her performance on the BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007) as well as getting nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate was Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special episode of Doctor Who, and later returned to her role as the Tenth Doctor's regular companion in the fourth season in 2008. [2] Tate was the main character of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") who was a comedy character that she played in The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). She also appeared in The Nan Movie (2022). In 2011, she began an ongoing role as Nellie Bertram in the U.S. version of The Office as well as a regular until the series ended. The character she played was Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School. Tate was one of six characters who starred in Hard Cell, a Netflix comedy series she co-wrote together with her husband.
